He co-founded and headed the European regional representative LKBN ANTARA Indonesian News Agency 1980-1986 in Hamburg, West Germany. He was the President Director/Editor, Chairman of ANTARA 1998-2000, and Managing Director of LPP RRI 2005-2010. He also won the 1999 Mahapatra Utama as a national press figure. He is still actively writing in several newspapers and online media. As a form of Dakwah Bil Hal, he initiated Dompet Dhuafa in 1993 as a poverty alleviation program. This time, Parni Hadi expressed his ideas about creative ideas that don’t have the word retire.
